Kos Town has Diakon and Nafklirou streets. Tourist for years have been calling this area Bar Street. The two streets are isolated in the day, but come ten o'clock at night, these streets are packed with energy. Music from each bar and club fill the air and mix with each other. No matter what type of music you enjoy, Bar Street has it all from techno to jazz. Clubs here are open until the early morning hours and there is no limit to the amount of fun you can have. Each bar is just a few steps from each other and people mingle in the street as they make their way from one end to the other. Money Saving Tip #6 Use Travelex.com to get the best rates on your currency (better than the Post Office!). The prettiest women on the island flock to Fashion Club, a nightclub that holds beauty contests. Not only that, they also have a pretty impressive laser show. Heaven is another popular nightclub. If you want to take in some Greek music, Hamam bar serves it up. For people who don't like to sweat on a dance floor, taverns and bars (more info on Restaurants in Kos) in the area offer up more laid back music to enjoy over a few beers. These bars tend to close a little earlier then nightclubs, but most are open until 2 AM. If you are partied out and just want to relax, consider the out-door cinema. Open Cine Orfeas features mostly English-speaking films and is quite affordable. Money Saving Tip #2 Book your hotel through Booking.com and get the lowest rate for your hotel..guaranteed! Dress codes for most places are relaxed, you are on vacation and they know you don't want to get all decked out. Dining guide for Kos, visit Fantastic Greece.
