Restaurants in KosA vacation is never complete without savoring the local cuisine. In Kos, a mesmerizing village in Greece, you get good quality Asian food in the restaurants, also both Indian and Chinese cuisine (See Local Cuisine in Kos)is largely available. If food is one of the most important things for you while you are on vacation, then you can try out the different varieties of restaurants located in the area.

There are numerous hotels, beach resorts and taverns in Kos, all vying to serve the best food.

Cheers Restaurant in Kos Town
This is a highly acclaimed restaurant in Kos. You can enjoy the most delightful recipes in the area and feast on great Indian and Chinese food. They have an interesting outdoor seating section and a very spacious area for people to eat inside. The quality of food is recommended by visitors and the staffs are highly courteous and attentive. They have interesting recipes made from chicken, prawns, pork and beef. The smell of Indian cuisine will whet your appetite for Biriyani and other mouth watering curries; not too spicy, of course.

Money Saving Tip #6
Use Travelex.com to get the best rates on your currency (better than the Post Office!).

Kokalakis Beach Hotel, Kos Town
It is a family run operation but very professional in all their dealings. You can stay in their self catering apartments and enjoy your privacy. You can watch the beach and sea from your balcony. You can enjoy a very magnificent view of the old Kefalos Town from the rear portion of the hotel. In the afternoons you can relax and sunbath and feel the wind in your face. You can stay one or two weeks depending on how long your vacation is, but you will never forget the sense of peace and calmness that washes over you once you visit this place.(See Kos Restaurants)

Since it is a very quiet resort you will stroll for about 10 minutes to watch the boats (more info on Sightseeing in Kos) . You can walk to the Southern tip of the island and watch nature’s play at work and watch the most beautiful sight – the sunset.
