Welcome to our website, I'm Paul and this is my father Gary. We decided to move to Greece in 2012 to live a more enjoyable life. This website will document our adventures... Enjoy!
Going on holiday to a beautiful Greek Island like Kos can be an amazing experience. It is natural to become really excited and carried a way by all the sun, fun and overall excitement. It is important to point out that there are certain "dos" and "don’ts" while on holiday on this fabulous Island.
In order to have a memorable and troublefree time, below is a list of some of the things that you should not do while in Kos.
First and foremost, you must ensure that you maintain decent behavior during your stay in Kos (you can find much more info on Best Places to Stay in Kos). This is because the police have a zero tolerance policy on virtually any person who is caught on the wrong side of the law irrespective of whether you are a foreigner or not. It would be rather unfortunate to begin facing legal charges while on vacation.
Secondly, avoid using your phone while driving and ensure that you carry around an identification card at all times. The traffic rules in the area are quite stringent and therefore it is important to get deeper knowledge of the driving requirements. Do not risk driving without a license as this is classified as a very serious offense.

Thirdly, it is unwise to get drunk and risk walking alone in the wee hours of the night. Though the crime rate is low in the area, it does not imply that one should not be cautious about his or her surroundings. Petty thefts are very common during peak seasons. Looking for a car to hire, use Trust Rentals Kos, free delivery to all hotels.
Fourthly, avoid going overboard when trying to get a sun tan. This could have adverse effects on your health and end up ruining that holiday that you really longed for. Ensure that you use products that can prevent the harsh effects brought about by excessive ultra violet rays. Kos is a wonderful place to take in the sun but you really should take care not to overdo things; it's a lovely place so make sure you are not too burned to enjoy it.

Fifthly, be just a little cautious about befriending the wrong types. A carefree attiude on holiday may well cause you unfair problems if someone decides to take advantage of your generous nature and you could well find yourself financially disadvantaged. As you make acquaintances, make sure that you know your limits when it comes to spending. Like any unfamiliar destination the locals may even take advantage of foreigners to persuade them to buy drinks and food and even issueattempt to coerce money from you.... so just be cautious. If you keep the above factors in mind, then having a great time in Kos will be part of your holiday package. There are many activities that one can engage in while in this exciting and graceful Island.
