Best Hotels in Kos
Written by Anna James | Posted in Hotels Updated 20-May

Best Hotels in KosKos is Greece's third largest island and a great choice for your next holiday.

There are a number of hotel options on the island and you want to make sure that you get the best quality and value for your hard earned money. If you are planning on taking a holiday to Kos, here are a few hotels that will not to disappoint:

Grecotel Kos Imperial
A luxurious hotel which features a private beach for guests and a number of amenities. Two on-site swimming pools, a spa, shopping, billiards, and fitness facility make this a great chose for travelers who like options. Those traveling with children will love the on-site kid's club. Also features include wi-fi, a hair salon, and tennis.

Prices start at £146 ($234/₤167) per night.

Money Saving Tip #6
Use Travelex.com to get the best rates on your currency (better than the Post Office!).

Double Tree Resort
If you prefer the time tested comfort and security that comes with a major hotel chain, the Double Tree Resort by Hilton may be the best choice for you. The resort features convenient beach access, a private hotel pool, and spa service. A front task staff that is available 24 hours a day will set your mind ease. While it may be lacking the traditional Greek feel and charm, the Double Tree Resort is a comfortable and safe option for your holiday.

Rooms begin at £146 ($234/₤167) nightly. Foreign money exchange, use Travelex to exchange money.

Carvia Beach Hotel
The Carvia Beach Hotel is a great choice for those on holiday with family. A private beach, hotel restaurant, and two swimming pools make this a very attractive option. Those who love sports will find everything that they want at this hotel, which provides its guests with tennis, boating, and hiking opportunities. The multilingual staff is great for those travelers with less than stellar Greek skills. Rooms are very reasonably priced at £105 ($168/₤120 per night.

The hotel also offers a bellhop service, sauna, steam room, and spa.

Although you may save money on the complimentary toiletries, this hotel is still a more expensive choice at £280 ($447/₤319) per night. Fear not, you most certainly will get your moneys worth.

Money Saving Tip #2
